KidTrack ("we," "our," or "us") is a family activity tracking application designed to help children develop healthy habits under parental supervision. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how parents can manage or delete their family's data.
KidTrack is designed for use by children under the age of 13 under direct parental supervision. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. A parent or guardian must create the family account and add their children. By creating a family account, the parent provides consent for their children's use of the app.
Parent account information
Email address and password used to create the family account. We use this for authentication only.
Child's profile
A display name chosen by the parent. We do not collect the child's real name, date of birth, email, or any contact information.
Activity data
Session records including activity type, start time, duration, and points earned. This data is tied to the family account and visible only to family members.
Device data
Push notification tokens (if enabled by the parent) to deliver reward approval notifications. We do not use these for advertising.
All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), a SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies ensure that each family can only access their own data — no family can view another family's information.
As a parent, you have the right to:
